CNSC Public Hearings for Rabbit Lake licence renewal and EA for Solution Processing Project

This is an opportunity to submit public criticism of the expansion of the uranium industry in northern Saskatchewan, Canada. Rabbit Lake Operation is an active uranium mine.

Renewal Hearing

The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) will hold a two-day public hearing on the application by Cameco Corporation (Cameco) to renew its operating licence for the Rabbit Lake Operation located in northern Saskatchewan.

Environmental Assessment Screening Result

The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) will hold a one-day public hearing to consider the results of an Environmental Assessment Screening (EA Screening) regarding Cameco Corporation and Areva Resources Canada Inc.’s proposed Rabbit Lake Solution Processing Project. The two facilities involved in the project are located in northern Saskatchewan.
